Introduction

I'm Desi! I am an MSW intern who specializes in trauma and culturally informed therapeutic interventions. I understand that seeking therapy can feel overwhelming, unfamiliar, or maybe challenging and believe that therapy should be a safe, collaborative, and culturally responsive space. My goal is to help clients understand themselves, strengthen relationships, manage emotions, and create meaningful change. My overall approach is grounded in trauma-informed care, mindfulness and person-centered therapy that adapts to the needs, values, cultures and lived experiences of each client. I provide affirming, culturally informed care to individuals seeking help with depression, anxiety, cultural or religious trauma, and self-discovery.
