Introduction

I offer support for individuals experiencing anxiety and life transitions. We can work together to identify triggers and develop practical coping skills to manage your symptoms and better adjust to changes. My goal is to empower you to overcome anxiety, fear, and burnout, helping you find balance and peace to live a more fulfilling life. I can help you face fears, challenge negative thinking, improve self and relational understanding, and learn to set boundaries. I understand the impact of anxiety and stress on your life and am committed to helping you develop effective coping strategies for greater freedom and joy. My approach integrates faith, teaching, holistic mindfulness, and specialized training to support your growth. Biblical principles, prayer, and music may be part of our sessions. While eclectic, my primary approach includes CBT, MI, DBT skills, and Brainspotting to help identify triggers, enhance emotional intelligence, promote healing, and cultivate healthier thought patterns and behaviors to cope better with life transitions, parenting, anger, and more. I am passionate about helping others find understanding and motivation to live authentically and with purpose. I provide a safe space to explore thoughts and feelings and practice skills for personal growth and healthier relationships, using wisdom, prayer, and discernment guided by faith. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management (Music & Theater) from Guilford College and Master of Arts degrees from Liberty University in Professional Counseling and Discipleship Ministries. I am a NC Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (#9317). My counseling experience includes crisis counseling and group counseling, while also working with individuals and couples experiencing anxiety, ADHD, anger issues, stress management, women’s issues, spiritual issues, life transitions, and relationship issues. On a more personal note---I am married with two young boys. I enjoy serving in our church's Media Department, reading, writing, puzzles, photography, social media management, and documentaries.
