Introduction

Hi, I’m Destinee! I’m glad you’re here — reaching out for support isn’t always easy, and it takes courage to even start. I understand how heavy life can feel when you’re carrying pain that no one seems to see or understand. Sometimes you just need a space where you don’t have to hold it all together — where you can finally exhale and be real about what you’ve been through. My path to becoming a therapist began with that same need. I know what it’s like to move through painful experiences without the support or space to process them, and I wanted to offer others what I didn’t have when I needed it most — a space that feels safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. I’ve also been on the other side of therapy — searching for someone who truly feels like the right fit — and those experiences have helped shape how I show up in this work. I strive to bring a warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth approach while maintaining professionalism. My style is eclectic, trauma-informed, and relational, allowing me to meet each person where they are. I value honesty, humor, and authenticity, and I aim to create an environment where you can explore your story, deepen self-awareness, and begin to understand yourself in new ways. Healing often happens within safe, healthy relationships, and my hope is to provide that foundation within the therapeutic space.
