Devon Herold is a mental health professional affiliated with Tracy E Hill PhD & Associates LLC. Hi! I’m a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology and more than a decade of experience working in behavioral health and human services. I became a therapist because I’ve always been interested in understanding what shapes the way we think, feel, behave, and relate to others. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, supporting clients through a wide range of concerns and life experiences. My clinical experience includes working with anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, emotional regulation, stress, relationship and family concerns, life transitions, self-esteem, substance use, and other challenges that can leave people feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. I also have extensive experience supporting individuals navigating recovery and major life changes, including work with first responders and veterans. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while using trauma-informed care to help clients better understand themselves and develop practical tools for managing difficult emotions, thoughts, and situations. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard and understood, while also feeling supported in making meaningful changes. I don’t believe there is a single approach that works for everyone. My goal is to meet you where you are, understand what is important to you, and work together to identify realistic steps toward feeling more balanced, confident, and connected in your life. Starting therapy can feel uncomfortable or uncertain, especially if you’re not sure where to begin. You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. We can start exactly where you are and work from there.
