Introduction

I am currently a counselor trainee and intern at Refuge Counseling in Ashland, OH. I graduated from Capital University’s Counselor Education Program in May 2026 with a Master of Arts in Education and currently work as a school counselor. I am continuing in Capital's program for a third year to also get my license in clinical mental health. I take a person-centered approach, meeting each individual where they are with empathy, compassion, and a genuine commitment to creating a space where they feel seen, heard, and valued. I believe in looking at the whole person and work collaboratively with clients to understand their needs, identify meaningful goals, and create a path toward greater well-being.
