I began my career working with children and adolescents in behavioral health, where I saw how deeply emotional and behavioral challenges can affect not only a young person, but their entire family. That experience led me to become a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and to focus my practice on helping children, teenagers, young adults, and parents feel more understood, capable, and hopeful. I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and DBT-informed care for concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood instability, emotional dysregulation, behavioral difficulties, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts. I also value working collaboratively with parents, therapists, schools, and other members of a client’s treatment team. My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. I take time to understand the person behind the symptoms and believe medication should be considered thoughtfully as one part of a broader treatment plan. My goal is to help clients and families better understand what is happening, identify meaningful next steps, and develop the skills and support needed to create lasting change.
