I became a therapist after years of working alongside people during some of life’s most uncertain moments. My background includes crisis-line work, 911 dispatch, and hospice care. These are all experiences that taught me the value of being present, staying curious, and not assuming there is one “right” way through something difficult. Today, I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, and patterns that no longer seem to serve them. My approach integrates CBT, DBT-informed therapy, and EMDR when appropriate, but therapy with me isn’t about forcing you into a particular model. We’ll work to understand what you’re experiencing, what your reactions may be communicating, and what options you have moving forward. I believe good therapy should leave room for both compassion and honest conversation. The goal isn’t for me to tell you who to become or which path to take. It’s to help you better understand yourself, develop useful skills, and create enough space to choose the path toward what matters to you. That’s the idea behind ReLuma’s philosophy: Humans Helping Humans.
