My practice was born from the belief that healing should feel expansive, embodied, and deeply connected to the world around us. Over the years, I’ve witnessed—and personally experienced—the power of nature in healing and transformation. Therapy is more than conversation; it’s movement, experience, and reconnection with self and surroundings. I meet clients outdoors in various natural areas in Juneau. With many access points and varied terrain, I tailor each session to your needs—whether you prefer wide‑open views, quiet forest edges, or gentle walking paths. Location options range from easy‑access spots near the airport and Mendenhall Valley to more secluded places on North Douglas. In our sessions, we'll integrate body awareness, present-moment experiencing, and trauma-informed care with practices that support connection with the natural world. Through a nonjudgmental lens, we'll explore how current challenges reflect past experiences, using movement, mindfulness, and sensory engagement to support insight, nervous system regulation, and emotional integration. Many of the interventions I use to guide clients are practices I have personally engaged with, deepening my commitment to providing authentic and effective therapeutic experiences. Through this work, I strive to create safe spaces where individuals can rediscover their resilience, strength, and sense of belonging. Each session is designed in collaboration with you—rooted in trauma-informed care and a trusted therapeutic relationship. I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches to meet your unique needs, intentions, and pace of growth. Office and telehealth sessions are also available. Whether you prefer a more contained space for conversation or need a dry alternative on one of Juneau's more dramatic weather days, my office provides a warm, quiet reprieve from the elements. Telehealth is available for Alaskan residents based outside of Juneau. Learn more at naturalconnections.org
