Introduction

When you need expert help clinical expertise, empathy, and real caring makes all the difference! With 46 years of experience I use efficacy-proven methods to help you through a transition or heal from anxiety, depression, grief, work stress, burnout, and relationship issues. My treatment model is integrative. I work with you as a whole person - your physical and mental health, family history, spirituality (or lack of), and culture are all important to me. I specialize in relationships, finding lasting happiness, improving sleep, and healing from trauma, anxiety, loss, and depression. I have many tools in my toolbox. I have received certifications and advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma, Mindfulness, Grief, Family Systems Therapy, Child and Adolescent Psychology, Clinical Hypnosis, and Telehealth. I trained and practiced as a Marriage and Family Therapist for 20 years before I became a psychologist. I am among the top rated therapists at a national company, Crossover Health, and am known for my empathy, compassion, expertise, ethics, and sense of humor. I am easy to talk to and I really care about my clients, so I want to hear your goals for treatment and about your life's dreams. As an expressive therapist and coach with the latest training in CBT and trauma, we can go deeply and more quickly into the healing process by including music, art, literature, movement, and Nature into our sessions, leading to meaningful and empowering lifestyle and habit changes. This practice is not appropriate if you are struggling with harming yourself or someone else, however. This is a boutique practice and I am not able to accept everyone who would like to work with me. My practice tends to attract executives, engineers, medical professionals, creatives, other therapists, and people from all walks of life and cultures who really want a happier life. Some come every week, others every other week or once a month. The sessions are always tailored to YOU. Your feeling heard and respected is a guarantee and a foundation of my care.
