Introduction

I am a Midwesterner who came to the Pacific Northwest for graduate school and quickly made it home. I hold a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Spanish from Northern Illinois University and an M.A. from Lewis & Clark College, where I specialized in Eating Disorders. I am EMDR Basic Trained and completed the 72-hour accredited Training for Adoption Competency through the Center for Adoption Support and Education. My clinical experience includes school-based therapy, outpatient work, and intensive eating disorder treatment for adolescents and adults. I have extensive background supporting justice-involved youth, DHS-involved families, and individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, and complex family systems. I also serve as adjunct faculty in Lewis & Clark’s Eating Disorder Certificate program. I am passionate about supporting couples—together, separated, or divorced—as they navigate communication, life transitions, parenting, and finances. I also work with adult family systems, helping family members improve relationships, repair ruptures, and resolve past hurts. In addition, I work with individuals, with particular interest in early adulthood and adoption-related experiences. In the office, my therapy dog Betty joins me, offering warmth, humor, and comfort to clients. I provide services in both English and Spanish and offer supervision as an Approved Supervisor for LMFT and LPC Associates. I also provide individual and group consultation related to systemic therapy. A free 15-minute consultation is available to help us determine whether we’re a good fit.
