Hello, it's nice to meet you. My name is Dina, and I have been a psychotherapist for the past eight years, with my license for the last two years. Before becoming a full-time Mental Health Counselor, I worked as a guidance counselor for middle and high school students. Prior to that, I spent over 20 years working with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Currently, I practice in a community outpatient clinic, where I provide therapy sessions to individuals from diverse backgrounds and across all age groups. The clients I serve present a wide range of diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Many of them also face challenges such as grief, employment difficulties, and managing daily stressors, and I help them navigate these issues. I am particularly passionate about supporting adolescents and individuals transitioning into early and late adulthood, as this period often presents significant challenges when moving from dependence to independence. I strive to create a supportive environment and guide young people in making informed decisions about their lives. Through both my professional experience and personal relationships with nieces and nephews of similar ages, I have developed a nuanced understanding of the unique challenges that this population faces and maintain a strong connection with them. I provide clients with a safe space to explore their emotions and utilize evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy. I am committed to helping you address and overcome your challenges.
