Introduction

My name is Dionne Jenkins, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience in mental health treatment, community outreach, and program development. I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Grambling State University and hold an undergraduate degree in Psychology. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations across multiple settings, including corrections, developmental disabilities, crisis outreach, and substance abuse treatment. In addition, I have facilitated mental health and faith-based conferences and currently serve on a committee dedicated to educating churches about mental health challenges and reducing stigma within faith communities. As a therapist, I find deep fulfillment in helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and rediscover their inner strength. I am passionate about inspiring hope, fostering purpose, and supporting clients in developing a stronger sense of self. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is witnessing clients gaining awareness of their resilience, faith, and capacity to grow—even in the midst of adversity. This transformation empowers individuals to build the tools they need to overcome obstacles and create meaningful change in their lives. My practice is well-suited for adults (18+) who may be experiencing: • Low self-esteem • Grief and loss • Attachment issues • Caregiver stress • Forgiveness, guilt, and shame • Isolation and loneliness • Stress and anxiety • Feeling overwhelmed • Depression • Life transitions • Spiritual and faith-related concerns Integration of Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Based Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills (DBT), and other approaches integrating through a spiritual lens. My hope is to create a safe, supportive environment where you can rebuild confidence, strengthen your inner resilience, cultivate the life you desire and to inspire hope along the way. If you are ready to begin your journey toward healing and growth, I would be honored to support you along the way.
