I am a licensed mental health counselor who has significant experience working with children, adolescents and adults. Much of my experience in mental health derives from crisis settings such as; working at the 988 suicide line to support individuals in severe distress, working in an inpatient acute psychiatric unit working with patients with mood disorders and suicidality, and facilitating groups in an intensive outpatient program for adolescents with histories of trauma, abuse & neglect. These experiences taught me that counseling and therapy is never a "one size fits all" approach. My goal as your counselor is to support you through your journey and guide you in exploring your unique experiences that have led you to where you are today. I am extremely interested in continuing to work with populations of trauma, abuse and chronic illness. My style of therapy is catered to each individual I have the pleasure of meeting. I apply a set foundation of a psychodynamic approach whilst drawing interventions from; CBT, DBT, narrative therapy and mind/body modalities.
