It's not about the food. And it is also about the food. It is about appearance. But not vanity. Not everyone understands. If you’re dealing with disordered eating, negative body image, anxiety, or depression, the push-pull may leave you feeling overwhelmed or alone. You might be looking for support that offers structure and practical tools (without judgment). Maybe you're looking for a therapist who is engaged, responsive, and present with you. In our work together, you will not be talking to a blank face. I use humor and connection to explore patterns, build coping skills, and strengthen self-trust at a comfortable pace. I bring experience from higher levels of care, including an intensive treatment unit and supportive partial hospitalization housing. I integrate DBT-informed, CBT-, and strengths-based approaches in my therapy space. I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming, and I strive to offer a space that is inclusive, respectful, and emotionally safe. My style is structured, collaborative, and compassionate, balancing direct feedback with encouragement as we work toward meaningful, realistic change.
