Introduction

You've already done the work. The therapy, the books, the journaling, the workshops. You have insight — real, hard-earned insight. And yet you still come home from work depleted, guarded, and somehow giving the people you love the worst version of yourself. That's not a character flaw. That's what happens when survival skills designed for pressure-filled rooms — the code-switching, the guardedness, the constant vigilance — don't know how to clock out when you walk through your front door. I work with Black women, femmes, and BIPOC and queer couples who are therapy-literate and done with therapy that just holds space. You don't need more reflection. You need someone who will challenge you with care, keep you in the hard conversations, and help you translate what you already know into how you actually show up — with your partner, with yourself, in the moments that matter most. My approach is active, phased, and grounded in race and relational strategy. I draw from Relational Life Therapy, Brainspotting, somatic practices, and Black feminist frameworks to help you move from insight into integration. We won't just name your patterns — we'll interrupt them in real time. You'll leave sessions with concrete skills, not just awareness. This work is sacred, honest, and demanding in the best ways. You won't have to explain code-switching or justify why race lives at the center of your relationships. Your full identity is the starting point here — not a footnote. If you're ready to stop managing your relationships and start living in them, I'd love to connect. A free 15-minute consultation is available to get us started.
