Introduction

Change is one of the most difficult things we are asked to do. We may feel a strain within ourselves, with others, and even our environment but change is still possible. My goal is to help you build the skills to confidently identify, start, and maintain patterns of positive change in your life. I want to provide you with a safe place for you to regain that sense of peace you are searching for. Whether that be for yourself or in your marriage, dating, or family relationships, I want to take to time to learn your strengths and collaboratively help you develop a new normal in your life. We can work to restore trust, understanding, and closeness with yourself and others. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have received my Master of Arts in Counseling with a focus in Family and Marriage at Geneva College. While my training is from a Christian perspective, I only bring faith into sessions if requested by my client. I have completed Level 1 and Level 2 trainings in Gottman Method For Couples, and am also certified in SYMBIS Premarital counseling. I have more than 10 years of clinical experience across a variety of settings, including community, in-home based therapies and partial programs settings. I have experience working with Individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, anger management, and hard life transitions. I also specialize in working with marriages, premarital couples, parenting struggles, and strained family relationships. I have daytime, evening and weekend availability. In addition to offering therapy, I serve as the Clinical Supervisor and Training and Consultation Coordinator here. I oversee our Pre-Licensed Initiative, providing training and supervision to the Masters Level therapists who are working on state licensure. I keep the other therapists updated with upcoming continuing education trainings and am open for consultation on a regular basis. I also help to direct our group supervisions. Although I was born in Virginia, my sisters and I were raised in the York, PA area by my mother. I played football at both the high school and collegiate levels. I am also a proud husband and father.
