Introduction

Trust and confidentiality in the counseling relationship provides a safe and private place to process what is going on in life and to move forward. It is challenging for anyone in these conditions to manage the demands of work, family, and life responsibilities. Stressors on the job and in relationships can significantly impact one’s physical and emotional health. Stress doesn’t go away, and conditions such as constantly being exposed to others' trauma can lead to anxiety and depression, among other unwanted responses. My scope of practice includes those experiencing stress from any area of life, including relationships and work. I am an independently licensed counselor with EMDRIA certification specializing in evidence-based practices to treat people in stressful circumstances. Including couples, individuals, and professionals. My specialties include serving first responders, front-line medical health workers, dispatchers, security officers, and behavioral health professionals.
