Specializes in: Individual Growth & Healing, Couples & Relationship Issues, Family & Parenting Issues, Adolescent & Young Adult Development, Life Transitions,

Introduction

I provide humanistic, Afrocentered, and multicultural psychotherapy that promotes healing and growth for individuals, couples, and families. My approach is warm, relational, culturally grounded, and collaborative. I believes healing happens not only within individuals, but also within the relationships, families, communities, cultures, and larger social worlds that shape our lives. In our work together, I aim to create a space where clients feel deeply seen, emotionally safe, and supported in reconnecting with their own inner wisdom, resilience, and capacity for growth and self-fulfilment. Rather than viewing people primarily through the lens of diagnoses, symptoms, or the problems that bring them to therapy, I seek to understand the whole person, their experiences, relationships, history, culture, and the broader context of their lives. Together with clients, we co-create a therapeutic process that honors them as the experts on their own lives, while I offer empathic understanding, unconditional positive regard, and an authentic, grounded presence to support their healing, growth, and self-fulfillment.
