Hi! My name is Dr. Alexandria Hudeck, but I prefer to just go by Dr. Alex. I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Ohio who works with individuals and families, with a particular focus on children, adolescents, and young adults. I have specialized training in interpersonal trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), emotional dysregulation, mood disorders, anxiety, eating disorders, ADHD, and behavioral challenges. As a clinician, I value being genuine, thoughtful, and nonjudgmental, and I strive to create a space where clients feel supported, understood, and encouraged toward meaningful growth. I earned my undergraduate degree with university honors from Bowling Green State University, followed by my master’s degree from Capella University, and later completed my doctoral training at California Southern University. I became licensed in Ohio in 2024 and completed ADOS training in 2025, which further strengthened my work in assessment and diagnostic clarification. My clinical work is informed primarily by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I also integrate other evidence-based approaches as appropriate, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs, goals, and lived experiences. My path into psychology began in high school, when I took my first psychology class and, for the first time, felt like I truly understood everything that was being taught to me. That experience sparked a deep sense of clarity and calling. I had always known that I wanted to help people, and the study of human behavior and emotion resonated with me in a way that made it difficult to imagine pursuing any other career. That early connection to the field continues to shape the way I approach my work - with curiosity, respect, and a genuine interest in understanding each person’s story. Outside of my clinical work, I love art and spending time outdoors. Hiking, kayaking, and reading are some of the ways I recharge, reflect, and stay grounded, and I value the balance that creativity, nature, and quiet moments bring to my life. It is a privilege to do this work, and I welcome the opportunity to walk alongside you as you move toward greater understanding, healing, and peace.
