Introduction

As a trauma-informed, psychodynamic, and relationally oriented EMDR therapist, I work collaboratively with my assessment and psychotherapy clients to understand their experiences and develop an understanding and plan that will address the most important and pressing issues that bring them to therapy. My clients describe me as gentle, warm, creative, and actively engaged in their healing. EMDR and Trauma Therapy My use of EMDR as a comprehensive trauma therapy helps clients enhance coping skills and life functioning, and provide long-lasting relief from the distress that has brought them to therapy. I provide medium and long-term psychotherapy for adults of all ages. I view therapy as a non-judgmental place to explore, discover, and ultimately find healing and relief. For some people this means healing past trauma and old wounds, others struggle with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, grief and loss. Others might be looking for a space with which to reflect on their path in life, the ways in which they feel stuck, and be seeking help in shifting towards self-actualization. Areas of Specialty My specialties include working with survivors of traumatic experiences in childhood and adulthood, with particular expertise in domestic violence, as well as working within the LGBTQQIA communities, and with family members and partners of transgender individuals. Transitions often bring about new challenges, and my work often encompasses assisting adults as they navigate transitions from college, relationships, marriage, fertility, infertility, pregnancy, parenthood and beyond. I especially enjoy working with therapists who are looking to enhance their own healing as well as recover from vicarious trauma or compassion fatigue. Adult ADHD Assessment, Support, and Treatment I provide ADHD assessments for adults and treatment for adults with newly diagnosed ADHD or for whom ADHD symptoms have become difficult to navigate with the demands of adulthood. For parents, I offer individual psychotherapy and psychoeducation to support the unique experience of parenting children with ADHD. Let's Work Together I offer in-person and tele-health appointments from my riverside office at Damonmill in historic Concord, Massachusetts. Clients are welcome into my practice from a wide range of diverse backgrounds including race, ethnicity, age, neurodivergence, religion, and sexuality and gender identity. I work with adult clients 18+. I am licensed in Massachusetts. It has been such a privilege to help my clients heal, grow, change, and enhance their connection to themselves and the world around them. I truly love this work and would be honored to join you on your journey.
