Introduction

Hi, I’m Amanda! Life can be messy, unpredictable, and honestly… exhausting. Sometimes it feels like the curveballs just keep coming, and before you know it, stress has started snowballing into every part of life. That can leave you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and unsure of what to do next. That’s where I come in. I know reaching out to a therapist can feel awkward (especially at first), so my goal is to make it as easy and comfortable as possible. In my sessions, you’ll find a space where you can exhale, feel supported, and know you’re not alone. I use an intentional integration of Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotion-Focused Couple Therapy, and techniques from Experiential and Narrative models. Basically, I like to keep things flexible and tailored to what works best for you. If something’s not clicking, we’ll switch it up until we find what does. I’m thoughtful, creative, and yes — we might even laugh along the way. Therapy is about finding hope, clarity, and direction… and I’d love to help you take that next step. If you're still reading and really came here to read about the technical stuff (my education & credentials), see below for a quick summary: PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy, Texas Tech University, 2009-2013 Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, Abilene Christian University, 2007-2009 B.S. in Psychology, Minor in Religious Studies, York University, 2003-2007 KS LCMFT License Number 03343 AAMFT Approved Supervisor since 2016 AAMFT Clinical Fellow & Professional Member
