Introduction

I am Dr. Angelica Dempsey and I am a licensed psychotherapist in the state of Georgia. I am honored to work with you during your healing journey! A little bit about me: I possess over 15 years experience within the counseling/psychology profession. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, families, and addictions. I am competent in psychosocial evaluations and assessments, behavioral management models, counseling therapy, crisis management interventions and procedures, and case management; both in the community and in high intensity, clinical environments. CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy); the scientific therapeutic approach, is the primary approach we will use to aid in this process. Because everyone is unique, I customize counseling interventions for each individual, in order to meet their specific needs; thus other therapeutic approaches may be employed along this journey.
