A lot of people come to therapy because they are tired of carrying everything. Maybe you are the person everyone depends on, the one who keeps it together even when underneath you feel overwhelmed, anxious, angry, disconnected, or exhausted. Therapy should be one place where you do not have to perform being okay. My approach is warm, honest, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, emotional overwhelm, grief, trauma, life transitions, identity, self-worth, and patterns that keep repeating. A big part of my work is helping you understand why you respond the way you do. We may explore attachment, nervous system responses, boundaries, emotional triggers, relationship patterns, and survival strategies that once helped you cope but may not be serving you anymore. I am not the kind of therapist who will sit silently and nod for an hour. I will listen, ask questions, help you connect the dots, challenge you when it is helpful, and make room for humor, culture, personality, and real conversation. Healing is not about becoming someone else. It is about understanding yourself, trusting yourself, and learning what you no longer have to carry.
