Dr. April Berry, the owner of Pathway 2 Purpose Wellness & Consulting, LLC specializes in supporting individuals navigating a wide range of personal, emotional, and identity-based experiences, including diversity, equity, and inclusion concerns; intersectional challenges related to race, gender, and lived identity; oncology-related distress; trauma; anxiety and depression; grief and adjustment; self-esteem and confidence; relationship concerns; behavioral challenges; and psychological testing and evaluation. Because each person’s story is unique, my work is grounded in an integrative, multicultural framework that honors the full context of identity, culture, and lived experience. I primarily practice from an existential–integrative perspective, helping individuals explore meaning, resilience, choices, responsibility, and purpose while drawing thoughtfully from cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, and client-centered approaches. Therapy is collaborative, reflective, and tailored to support meaningful growth along each person’s pathway to purpose. Holistic healing and wellness are indeed personal to me. Being diagnosed with breast cancer at 28 and 31 years of age with no family history, no kids, or genetic predisposition, I could not make sense of this new reality. Through my cancer journey, I was able to heal, stand firm on my faith, and believe that greater was on the horizon. Indeed, it was and that is how Pathway 2 Purpose Wellness & Consulting, LLC was birthed into creation.
