Welcome to Elevana Psychiatry LLC. I’m Dr. Azra Alomerovic, and I’m truly grateful that you’re here. Reaching out for support—whether it’s your first time or a continuation of your mental health journey—takes courage, and I want you to know that you’re not alone in this process. My approach to care is rooted in compassion, respect, and a deep understanding of how complex and overwhelming life can feel when you’re struggling. Every person who walks through my virtual door brings a unique story, and my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported exactly as you are. I am a dual board‑certified Nurse Practitioner in both Family Practice (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health (PMHNP). I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2009, followed by my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Frontier Nursing University in 2015. In 2021, I completed a Post‑Graduate Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health at Frontier Nursing University. I am credentialed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and licensed as an APRN through the Kentucky Board of Nursing. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of serving individuals across the Louisville community in a variety of clinical settings. I diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, mood and adjustment disorders, and many other emotional and behavioral challenges. But beyond credentials and diagnoses, what matters most to me is you—your story, your strengths, your struggles, and your goals. My commitment is to walk alongside you with empathy and evidence‑based care, helping you find clarity, stability, and hope. Healing is not a straight line, and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
