Introduction

I am a nationally certified and licensed professional counselor in the Commonwealths of Massachusetts and Virginia, the State of Maryland, and the District of Columbia. I specialize in trauma-focused care and am in network with Tricare East. My areas of specialized training are crisis intervention, family systems work, military counseling, and behavior modification with clients diagnosed with comorbid disorders (ex., PTSD and polysubstance dependence). As a former emergency services clinician, I welcome first responders and clients with chronic medical problems. My areas of interest are post-traumatic stress disorder, vicarious traumatization, microaggressions in the workplace, acculturation issues, alexithymia, and personality disorders.
