For more than 20 years, I have supported individuals, couples, and family pairs through complex emotional and relational challenges. I earned my Doctor of Psychology degree in 2004 and am licensed in Florida, Arizona, and Washington. My advanced training includes Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, ACT, CBT, mindfulness, attachment, and interpersonal neurobiology. My work is also informed by Esther Perel, Stephen Porges, Frances Champagne, Winnie Dunn, and Nadia Bruschweiler-Stern. I am interested in how family roles develop, how protective strategies become mistaken for personality, and how greater understanding and compassion can transform relationships. As a psychologist, author, and educator, I help people move beyond symptom relief toward becoming more intentional partners, parents, adult children, siblings, and leaders. As a mother of five, I appreciate the complexity, beauty, intensity, and humor of family life. Having lived in the United States and abroad, I also understand the questions of belonging, identity, and family obligation that arise across cultures and communities. I value honest conversation, meaningful connection, and discovering the stories beneath what is immediately visible. I bring warmth, curiosity, and humor into therapy—because even difficult work can include moments of lightness and clarity.
