Introduction

Grief is deeply personal because love is deeply personal. Someone mattered. The relationship mattered. The memories mattered. And the love still matters. I am Dr. Carrie M. Behr, a Licensed Professional Counselor and art psychotherapist. I created The Art of Grieving™ as a sacred space to speak, remember, create, reflect, and honor the people and experiences that have shaped our lives. My approach brings together counseling, creative expression, reflection, and mind-body awareness, while honoring that there is no single way to grieve. Who we love becomes part of who we are.™
