My clinical approach is primarily psychodynamic — meaning I focus on how unconscious patterns, early experiences, and relational dynamics shape the way we think, feel, and move through the world. I am also trained in a range of other evidence-based treatments, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), and group therapy. I also work with children, adolescents, and families. With younger patients, I draw on play and homework-based approaches, executive functioning coaching, and behavioral strategies, adapting my methods to meet each child where they are developmentally. I collaborate closely with families throughout the process, recognizing that lasting change is best supported when the people closest to a child are engaged and informed. My work with families is holistic, addressing not just individual symptoms but the relational dynamics and broader context in which a child grows and develops.
