Introduction

You’ve tried new routines, followed advice, and worked harder, yet the same difficulties keep showing up. Staying focused takes more effort than others seem to realize. Everyday demands leave you overwhelmed. Or you’re watching your child struggle and wondering why the support you’ve tried hasn’t helped. You want a clearer understanding of what’s happening—and what to do next. I’m Dr. Dani Henderson, a licensed psychologist providing psychological testing and assessment for children, teens, and adults. I help explore questions about ADHD, autism, and other concerns that can affect attention, emotions, learning, and everyday life. My training has taken me through schools, hospitals, universities, and community clinics. I completed a postdoctoral residency in psychological assessment at Dean Psychological & Well-Being Associates, where I continue this work. Understanding neurodivergence and creating an affirming space are central to my approach. Assessment begins with listening. We explore your concerns, history, strengths, and the questions you want answered. You don’t need to arrive certain about a diagnosis or know the right words to explain your experience. Together, we look carefully at the information rather than assuming one explanation fits. Through individualized testing, feedback, and a written report, I help you understand the findings and identify practical next steps. Recommendations may guide treatment, everyday strategies, or conversations about support at school or work. Imagine approaching those conversations with a clearer explanation of your needs. Understanding why certain tasks are difficult. Having recommendations that help you decide where to begin. That is what we work toward through assessment. Testing appointments are available now, with scheduling extending into December and January. Contact the practice today to discuss your questions and schedule an initial assessment appointment in Wexford.
