Introduction

I am a Licensed Psychologist and co-founder of the Triangle Center for Behavioral Health. My primary specialties include evaluating for and treating ADHD, Anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Depression, Learning Differences. I have extensive training and experience in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and ADHD coaching. As a therapist and coach, I am energetic, engaged, and action-oriented. My skills-based approach is individualized to target each client's goals with an understanding of their core values. I adhere to evidence-based practices, applying evaluation and treatment approaches that are supported by empirical research. Since 2010, I have been working with student-athletes. I get to combine my love of sports with my clinical expertise to support their unique mental health challenges. I am an independent contractor for the Duke University Athletic Department, providing testing (ADD/ADHD and Learning Disability), consultation, and treatment services (e.g., stress/anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD coaching). My clinical background also includes a specialty in Health Psychology. In this role, I provide therapy services to individuals and families affected by a range of medical conditions and/or injuries. Whether it is an acute injury, new medical diagnosis, or a chronic illness, these uniquely complex challenges often bring the need for additional coping strategies and emotional support.
