Do you find yourself caught in recurring patterns that contribute to depression, anxiety, loneliness, anger, or difficulties forming meaningful relationships? Psychotherapy can offer a way forward. With courage and openness, healing becomes possible as you work alongside a compassionate therapist. Through this process, you can develop deeper self-understanding, make more intentional choices, and move toward a life marked by greater connection, fulfillment, and hope. My therapeutic approach is rooted in attachment-based therapy, which focuses on understanding and strengthening emotional connections with others, beginning with the relational patterns shaped in early caregiver relationships. Together, we identify and work through attachment-related wounds that may have contributed to unhelpful patterns earlier in life. This work supports growth in emotional regulation, communication, perception, and behavior, allowing individuals to experience healthier relationships and a more meaningful life. I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Graduate School of Psychology at Fuller Theological Seminary. My training enables me to thoughtfully integrate spiritual concerns into therapy when this is meaningful to clients. My professional background includes clinical work at an Asian Community Mental Health Clinic in Los Angeles, serving as an Assistant Professor of Counseling Studies at the China Graduate School of Theology in Hong Kong, and founding and directing a Christian Counseling Center in Hong Kong. I currently serve as the Mental Health Ministry Director at Blessed Center. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor based in Maryland, with an office in Rockville. I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions to meet your needs. Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, I am committed to walking alongside you and supporting you throughout your healing journey.
