Therapy is a noble, intimate, and sometimes messy undertaking. You may come to it in hopes to relieve emotional pain, expand your understanding of yourself and your life narrative, or access more moments of joy and presence. Together, we can help you move towards what you might otherwise shy away from, understand the source of suffering, and find new ways of coping and being in the world. I work from a psychodynamic, attachment-based framework, while blending tangible skills to help alleviate your pain in the day-to-day and enhance your relationships. I work primarily with adolescents and young adults as they navigate the challenges of forging one's identity and life transitions. I often see those grappling with depression, anxiety, trauma, or relationship concerns. I have a specialty in working with eating and body image concerns, which I do from a weight-neutral lens. I am LGBTQIA+ allied and often work with those exploring gender and sexuality. I have a unique specialty in concerns related to bariatric surgery and dramatic weight loss. I have advanced training in college mental health, and in particular I often work with people navigating challenging graduate degree programs. I am deeply invested in the work of life-altering psychotherapy, which happens through a deep connection that unfolds over time. You are the expert of your lived experience, and I look forward to guiding you towards your own strengths and inner knowing to build a life that is authentic and deeply felt.
