Introduction

Therapeutic Approach When working with clients I aim to create a welcoming, safe, and non-judgmental environment. In my therapy practices, I utilize an integrative approach that is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Object Relations therapy designed to meet each client’s specific needs. I may implement various techniques using mindfulness exercises cognitive restructuring and reality testing. I believe incorporating these techniques helps my clients to understand themselves better, process difficult emotions, identify aspects of their lives they would like to change, and improve emotional regulation. Background In 2019 I received my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on family forensic psychology at Antioch University Santa Barbara. Prior to that I earned my Masters in general psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles in 2012 I am interested in psychological assessments for mood disorders, autism, learning disabilities, and ADHD. I specialize in working with trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and issues related to relationships, creativity and ritual abuse. Research interests are trance states, alternative religions, and how culture impacts personality and psychopathology. In my previous career I was a film director for 20 plus years directing feature films, music videos and commercials. I also hold an MFA from Stanford University in performance and conceptual art. Training My training consists of working in both inpatient and outpatient settings with focus on providing treatment to those with severe mental health issues, trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, self-harm, and substance use. I am a Registered Psychological Associate #94028241, supervised by Nectar Redman, PsyD#18546.
