I work primarily with adults who are navigating challenging circumstances and life transitions. I use a person-centered approach, with an emphasis on whole-person health and well-being. My clinical experience spans a variety of settings, including VA medical centers and clinics, hospitals, university-based clinics, college counseling centers, and community mental health centers. I believe that when someone seeks therapy, they are reaching out because they want to move forward, feel less stuck, or find new ways to live well. I hold deep conviction that a meaningful, valued life is possible for anyone—even in the presence of disability, chronic pain or illness, depression, anxiety, trauma, or overwhelming life stress. I see psychotherapy as a collaborative space where we can discover the right pace and rhythm for facing those challenges: sometimes steady and gentle, sometimes more active and focused, always tailored to the person in front of me.
