Dr. Hilda Epelle Anigbogu, DNP, APRN, PMHNP BC, is a board certified Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to restoring hope and promoting whole person wellness through holistic, person centered mental health care for adults ages 18 and older. She provides comprehensive medication evaluation and management that is responsive to each individual’s behavioral lifecycle, values, and goals, integrating advanced clinical expertise with evidence based and collaborative approaches. Authenticity, empathy, and clinical rigor are core characteristics of her practice. With more than a decade of clinical and leadership experience in healthcare nursing and psychiatric care, Dr. Anigbogu specializes in balancing pharmacotherapy with psychotherapy and other therapeutic techniques to develop care plans that thoughtfully combine medications and non pharmacologic interventions. She works alongside patients as partners in decision making so that treatment reflects both best clinical practices and what matters most to the individual. Providing holistic, person centered, and hope driven care remains at the heart of her professional goals and values. During the initial visit, Dr. Anigbogu conducts a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment to understand the whole person, exploring how presenting symptoms relate to the individual’s habits, behaviors, environment, and lived experience. Assessments are done in a relaxed, respectful setting that prioritizes privacy and the protection of health information. The individual’s wellness journey forms the foundation of the therapeutic relationship, and through a close, flexible, and collaborative approach, Dr. Anigbogu works with clients to set an optimally productive pace for care, determining the frequency of follow up appointments based on evolving needs and progress.
