Introduction

Great to meet you! Trauma & Maternal Mental Health Specialist | EMDR Practitioner You spend your days managing everyone else’s expectations, solving problems, and holding it all together. To the outside world, you are highly capable and relentlessly independent. But underneath that hyper-independence, your nervous system is exhausted. You have likely done the intellectual work. You understand your history and can articulate your boundaries beautifully. Yet, despite all that insight, your body is still carrying the heavy weight of burnout, chronic stress, or past trauma. You simply cannot out-intellectualize a traumatized nervous system. You don't need another space to mask, perform, or "be the strong one." You need a sanctuary where you can finally put the heavy armor down. What is EMDR?: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a deeply restorative, somatic therapy designed to help you drop beneath your intellect. Instead of just talking about the painful events of your past, EMDR gently quiets the overthinking brain. What is KAP?: Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a deeply restorative, medically supported therapy designed to help you bypass your heavy intellectual armor. When traditional talk therapy feels like you are just analyzing your pain without feeling any different, KAP gently quiets your over-functioning mind. Using a carefully prescribed, gentle dose of ketamine, the medicine temporarily softens your brain's rigid survival loops. It creates a safe, peaceful "pause" that allows your nervous system to deeply rest, process, and rewire. It is a dedicated, sacred space to stop out-thinking your exhaustion and finally allow your body to heal at the root. As a therapist serving cycle-breakers throughout Maryland, my goal is to help you shift out of that "bone-deep freeze" and chronic fight-or-flight. Together, we will work to clear the old survival loops so you can return to a regulated, peaceful, and truly grounded version of yourself.
