Introduction

Life can feel overwhelming, even when you are the person everyone else depends on. You may be successful, capable, and accustomed to handling things on your own, yet find yourself struggling with anxiety, relationship difficulties, unresolved trauma, grief, major life transitions, or patterns that seem to keep repeating no matter how hard you try to change them. I believe therapy should be a place where you can be honest about what is happening without judgment while also doing meaningful work toward change. My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. Together, we work to understand not only what you are experiencing, but what is underneath it—helping you process the past, strengthen relationships, develop healthier patterns, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. I am a Doctor of Professional Counseling and Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) in Texas, with extensive experience working with trauma, grief and loss, relationship and family concerns, addiction and recovery, anxiety, stress, and significant life transitions. I am also a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) in Texas and a Licensed Professional Counselor–Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP) in Tennessee. My clinical approach is trauma-informed and tailored to the unique needs of each client. I am certified in EMDR and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). I integrate these evidence-based approaches to create a personalized treatment experience that supports your individual needs, goals, and healing process. You do not have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. Sometimes the first step is simply recognizing that what you have been carrying is no longer something you want to carry alone. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where we can understand where you have been, work through what is keeping you stuck, and help you move toward the life and relationships you want.
