Introduction

Dr. Latasha M. Wright is a highly skilled Marriage and Family Therapist Apprentice with over 15 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate complex emotional and relational challenges. She is currently in the final stages of completing her 1,500 hours of systemic counseling as she advances toward full licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist, bringing both clinical depth and real world wisdom into every session. Dr. Wright specializes in working with couples who are dating, engaged, and married, helping them strengthen communication, rebuild trust after infidelity or betrayal, navigate commitment concerns, establish healthy boundaries, and reduce ongoing conflict. She also supports couples in addressing financial stress, sex and intimacy concerns, and major life transitions, meeting each couple with both structure and compassion. What sets Dr. Wright apart is her ability to combine professional expertise with lived experience. As a mother of six, a woman who has navigated remarriage and blended family dynamics, and a proud grandmother, she understands firsthand the realities of relationships, parenting, and generational impact. She does not just teach relationship principles, she has lived them, refined them, and now helps others apply them in real time. Dr. Wright holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Wingate University, along with dual Master’s degrees in Christian Education and Christian Counseling, and a Doctorate in Theology from Grace Biblical Institute and Seminary. This combination of clinical experience, advanced education, and spiritual foundation allows her to offer an integrated approach to counseling. For clients who desire it, she is able to incorporate faith based principles into the therapeutic process in a way that is practical and transformative. Dr. Wright is also an author and thought leader, known for her work around forgiveness, healing, and personal transformation. Her approach is clear and direct, healing is possible, growth is intentional, and relationships can be restored when both individuals are willing to do the work. Dr. Wright brings a powerful blend of professionalism, authenticity, and results driven care to her clients. She is committed to helping couples not just stay together, but build relationships that are healthy, intentional, and built to last.
