I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Florida. I completed my PhD in Psychology from an APA accredited program with a specialization in Pediatric Psychology. During graduate training, I completed a Clinical Psychology Internship in the Department of Psychiatry at the UF College of Medicine where I received specialty training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) working with individuals with OCD in intensive outpatient programs. I then completed a Postdoctoral Psychology Fellowship at the UF College of Medicine where I was trained by leading experts and became a Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) therapist. I am recognized as a certified PCIT therapist by the PCIT international association and maintain this certification up to date. After concluding doctoral training, I went on to work in a major children’s hospital with youth diagnosed with chronic and acute medical health conditions. I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents who have various GI conditions, type 1 diabetes, cystic fibrosis, and those who have experienced medical trauma. I have provided psychological services to children, adolescents and their caregivers in outpatient psychology clinics, inpatient psychiatric hospitals and outpatient pediatric specialty clinics. My approach to therapy incorporates evidence-based treatments in a manner that is collaborative yet tailored to meet your child’s unique needs. As a member of the American Psychological Association, I regularly attend psychological conferences and stay informed with the latest research in order to provide accurate and science backed interventions to my patients.
