Meet Lee Moore, DNP, PMHNP-BC Lee Moore is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing individualized, holistic care to adolescents and adults. He specializes in evidence-based practices and has extensive experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals, those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), individuals with trauma histories, those managing addiction and substance use concerns, and individuals diagnosed with severe mental illness. With a background in secondary and adult education and talk therapy, Dr. Moore integrates these skills to offer comprehensive care tailored to each patient's unique needs. Educational Background and Professional Experience Master of Education in Professional Counseling from the University of Georgia (2011) Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University (2015) Graduate Certificate in LGBT Health Policy and Practice from George Washington University (2017) Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Frontier Nursing University (2019) Currently pursuing a PhD in Nursing Education and serving as an assistant professor of nursing at the University of Virginia Dr. Moore is committed to continuous learning and staying abreast of emerging research and practices. He believes in the importance of medication management services, complemented by a variety of other support services available within the community. Originally from Georgia, Dr. Moore has lived on the west coast and is now enjoying his time back closer to family.
