I work with people who have been affected by difficult relationships, childhood stressors, and trauma and specialize in creating a supportive, secure space for people to explore themselves and their relationships with others. Patterns like people-pleasing and perfectionism often started as attempts to get your needs met or protect yourself. You may have beliefs like “I’m unlovable” or “I have to control everything,” and feel overwhelming sadness, shame, or anxiety. Using warmth and humor, I help people process painful memories and work through difficult emotions so they can change these patterns and beliefs. I build genuine relationships with the people I work with, which in turn allow my clients to feel comfortable enough to challenge themselves in the therapy space. By teaching people how to express their needs and set healthy boundaries, I help them create fulfilling, sustainable relationships and build the life they want and deserve. Together, we will work toward understanding yourself more deeply and building the life you envision with compassion, courage, and humor. I look forward to getting to know you!
