Introduction

Hello! I’m Dr. Lisa L. Schulz, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor, licensed in both Oregon and Georgia, currently living in OR. I'm really glad you're here. I connect with clients using an interpersonal framework and an Existential-Humanistic practice model. I work with teens and adults, including people navigating life transitions, relationships, identity exploration, demanding careers, and experiences of loss or stress. Many of the people I support are looking for a space where they can feel understood, affirmed, and not judged. My work is grounded in an interpersonal, humanistic approach, which means I believe the relationship we build together is central to meaningful change. I strive to be genuine, caring, and non-judgmental, and I honor the cultural and personal contexts that shape each person’s experience. I am particularly effective for those seeking meaning, purpose, and a fulfilling quality of life at any age! In our first session, you can expect a conversation that feels warm, supportive, and easy to enter into. My goal is for you to feel safe being yourself and to move at a pace that feels right for you. Yo soy bilingüe y ofrezco servicios en español también – permítame la oportunidad de apoyarle en lograr las metas de vivir su mejor vida. Allow me the opportunity to connect with you, and together we will explore how you can feel confident, competent, and lovable! If you’re looking for a therapist who will meet you with curiosity and respect, I’d be honored to work with you.
