In times of stress, it can feel as though it is you against the world and that control is limited. My goal is to foster a sense of both acceptance of these situations and commitment to tackling them in an adaptive way while also exploring how previous experiences have shaped the way you approach life. I approach therapy in a warm, non-judgmental way so as to foster a comfortable setting for clients that encourages communication. With this, continuous effort is made to facilitate affirmative, validating, and open dialogue. Above all else, I place emphasis on showing up as authentically as possible in the therapy room and I encourage clients to do the same.
