Introduction

Dr. Balaguer earned his dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Economics from Dartmouth College and his PhD in Clinical Psychology from George Washington University. Throughout his training and professional career, Dr. Balaguer has worked with the Veterans Administration, community health organizations, and most recently with Denver Health. Dr. Balaguer specializes in offering integrated care, especially related to chronic pain, substance use, and the intersection of physical and mental health. In his personal life, Dr. Balaguer is married, has fur babies and a human baby on the way, and enjoys adventuring through the mountains here in beautiful Colorado. Dr. Balaguer provides services through his own practice, located at and partnering with with the Primary Care offices of Geriatric & Family Medicine.
