There are times when our goals are just out of reach, BeyondME Counseling and Consulting aims to help clients reach objectives they previously struggled to achieve on their own. At BeyondME Counseling and Consulting, we are dedicated to offering expert counseling and consulting services to individuals of all ages. Our focus is on helping individuals, couples, families, and groups enhance their self-awareness and cultivate effective strategies to address their past, navigate their present, and plan for their future. Our primary focus is on offering specialized assistance, guidance, and education to and about individuals who have navigated trauma, harnessed resilience, and are seeking to enhance their understanding of self-care in order to foster improved mental well-being. About Dr. Ellis I am Dr. Michelle Ellis and I am so excited that you've come to visit our website. I hold licenses as a Licensed Professional Counselor (PA), a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (FL), a Qualified Supervisor, and I am recognized as a NBCC Board Certified Counselor. I believe authentic connections are the cornerstone of healing. Thus, I actively incorporate multicultural perspectives into therapeutic settings, with a particular emphasis on addressing the unique needs of racially diverse individuals, couples, and families. Our Counseling Approach At BeyondME Counseling and Consulting, we believe that every individual's story is unique, and we are here to help you navigate its complexities. Our skilled and compassionate therapists work collaboratively with you, honoring where you are right now because we believe that real, lasting change begins not with pushing yourself to be different, but with becoming more fully who you already are. Our philosophy is grounded in the paradoxical theory of change: the understanding that transformation happens most naturally when we stop striving to be something we are not, and instead step more deeply and honestly into our present experience. When you allow yourself to be truly seen (in your struggles, your strengths, your contradictions) something shifts. Awareness itself becomes the catalyst. Through a humanistic lens, we meet you as a whole person. Your past is honored, your present is embraced, and your future is held with possibility. Personal reflection and authentic self-awareness are not just welcomed here — they are the very foundation of the work. Together, we'll cultivate a space of safety, support, and empowerment where you can meet yourself with compassion, and where meaningful growth can unfold from the inside out. Our Supervision Approach BeyondMe offers supervision services via individual and group modalities to Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns in Florida. As a Qualified Supervisor, Dr. Ellis aims to provide supervisees with a deeper appreciation for relationship development, therapeutic curiosity, ethical decision making, and multicultural perspectives, all which impact both supervisory and counseling relationships. This is accomplished by providing and overseeing a wide range of supervisory experiences. Such experiences will assist the supervisee in continued development of intervention skill utilization, ethical practice, and the saliency of professional counselor identity. Dr. Ellis utilizes the Multicultural Integrated Supervision Model, which integrates the Integrated Developmental Model and the Multicultural Social Justice Counseling conceptual framework. From this model, Dr. Ellis believes that all interactions are multicultural, the supervisor-supervisee relationship development is paramount, and supervision structure is imperative.
