From a very young age, I was the person my friends turned to when they needed someone to listen. I had a natural ability to hold space for others, and over time I realized I could turn that calling into a career dedicated to helping people heal. My path to becoming a therapist is also a personal one. I carry my own history of trauma, and I grew up in an environment where therapy simply wasn't an option — even when I needed it most. That experience shaped me profoundly. I became the helper I wish I'd had, and it's a role I don't take lightly. I believe deeply in the power of this work, because I've seen what's possible when people finally have the support they deserve. As a licensed psychologist with a Doctorate in Clinical Forensic Psychology (Psy.D.), I specialize in working with adolescents and adults navigating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. My approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and I am committed to providing care that is culturally responsive and affirming of each client's unique identity and background. In our work together, you can expect warmth, honesty, and collaboration. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach — I work alongside you to understand what's getting in the way of the life you want, and to build practical, meaningful tools to help you get there. Whether you're working through past trauma, managing overwhelming emotions, or simply trying to feel more like yourself again, my goal is for you to feel seen, supported, and empowered throughout the process.
