Pranati Walker holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South University. Her undergraduate education was in criminal justice and psychology. In Fall 2022, she commenced her doctoral studies in Counselor Education and Supervision at Walden University, successfully defending her dissertation in April 2026. Pranati Walker possesses over a decade of experience in providing therapeutic services to a diverse range of clients, including young children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and military personnel. Her professional journey began in 2013 as a Qualified Mental Health Professional in Virginia. In Spring 2021, she transitioned to a master’s-level clinical internship. Currently, she holds the credentials of a Licensed Professional Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, and a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, and Clinical Counseling Supervisor enabling her to offer services to both children and adults as well as provide clinical supervision for counseling residents. Pranati Walker conducts individual and couples therapy sessions and facilitates psycho-educational and substance abuse groups. Her therapeutic approach encompasses a wide range of techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, Music Therapy, and Multicultural Counseling. These evidence-based modalities are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Pranati Walker is actively engaged in expanding her knowledge base within the field of therapy and exploring the integration of yoga into her therapeutic practices.
