Challenges come and go; however, when our stressors, anxieties, or unwanted behaviors start making us feel bad about ourselves or never ending, it can become overwhelming. It can be har d to reach out for help, and I applaud you for taking the first step in your mental health. I enjoy supporting others by standing next to them in their journey and I love that my profession allows me to do that. Through collaborative explorations, my goal is to help you build increased self-awareness and form new understandings of your past and present. I work with adults of all ages struggling with ADHD, anger management, anxiety, depression, grief, stress, and substance abuse. My clinical approach is grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy with an integration of mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques to help with emotional stability, reduce reactivity, and feel safe with yourself. I believe in seeing the strengths of all my patients and helping them see their own internal positives and resiliency. It helps to talk to someone outside your community of friends and family for professional support. Feel free to contact me to set up a therapy consultation and I look forward to potentially working together.
