Hi, I'm Dr. Sanam Nourazari! I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely seen, understood, and comfortable being yourself. Life can get complicated, and sometimes the ways we've learned to cope, protect ourselves, or connect with others can leave us feeling stuck. I work with teens, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, relationship struggles, and major life transitions. Whether you're feeling disconnected from your partner, overwhelmed by expectations, or trying to make sense of painful experiences, I'm here to help you better understand yourself and find a way forward. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, while also helping you challenge patterns that may no longer serve you. I incorporate EMDR to help process trauma and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help couples and families strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and create deeper emotional connections. As a Farsi- and English-speaking therapist, I recognize how culture, identity, immigration, and family expectations shape our experiences and relationships. You don't need to have the right words or know exactly where to begin. We'll figure that out together. My goal is for therapy to feel like a space where you can be yourself, do meaningful work, and experience real growth.
